Gage has been saving his money for several months to buy "Spencer",a choo-choo for his train set. He has been very diligent at cleaning his room every night to put another quarter in his bucket. Any time you ask him what he is saving for, he will tell you Spencer without any hesitation. So I was surprised tonight at Target that he said he wanted to buy a four wheeler he saw. I asked him if he was going to use his Spencer money to purchase it. After thinking for a moment he replied "No, I'll just use Papa's tractor money to buy this!".

Toddler Time!

One of the highlights of our week is Toddler Time at the library. Books, dancing and kids to play with...what fun!

Al's Family Farm

We stopped at our favorite "fast food" today, Al's Family Farms in Ft Pierce. They have great food (and orange soft serve!) and the best playground! Gage's favorite is the "orange washin' bachine"

Visit from the Holcomb's

We enjoyed another nice (rainy) weekend with my brother and fam this weekend. My nephew and his wife and son came along for their first visit to the "compound". While the big boys played in the rain building our new pole barn, the litle boys had a great time riding the gator and the "4-widder". Both were screaming "Go faster!!" and Mommy's screaming "That's fast enough!!".

Fall Days = Fall Festivals!

Fall is here! I know it is so because The Weather Channel told me it was...wish someone would tell the actual weather outside to cooperate! Anyway, in spite of the hot, humid (sticky) climate, we've done our darnedest to enjoy the many festivals in and around town this month. The issue has been to decide on just one a weekend! One of our favorite places to "fest" at is LaPorte Farms in Sebastian. The Littles decided to join us (partly because they had forgotten that Sebastian is really much, much closer to us than them, oops!) and we had a great time riding ponies and petting the other animals, we even had a couple of bull rides!
